In this proposal we will explain the vision and structure of the DAOthon. Our mission is to foster a collaborative environment where DAO contributors can deliver revolutionary products, accelerated by investors and cross-DAO knowledge-sharing. The structure of a DAOthon can take many forms, and its scope of reach will change in time. However, the vision is grounded: fluid progress, stable momentum.

All of the iterations of our event will be twofold. Firstly, we’re creating a medium for great minds from the fora of DAOs to come together, establish ideas, execute them, and solidify a future plan that will accelerate them and the communities they will be representing. Secondly, we’re setting a platform for sponsors, investors, and enthusiasts chasing the next big thing in web3 to identify teams with potential and vision, and projects that will revolutionise our space. With our determination and a clear plan, the DAOthon will stay as a forefront initiative for recognising talent, and offering it purpose.

Finally, our identity will attract partners that the teams can discuss with while building, receiving unquantifiable input that will last a lifetime. Vice-versa, partners can drive DAOs to design solutions for their existing problems, and establish a fair exchange between all involved. The stream of development enables continuous idea-polishing, and therefore ensures results.
FLUID PROGRESS
Constructing the DAOthon will be centred around the fluidity of work that projects within a DAO ask for. Rather than seeing the teams as a stable unit that will deliver from start to finish, by bringing everyone under our vision, we will provide a space in which teams can also think of the scalability of their work for a longer period of time. Participants will share a clear interest in how DAOs can grow and deliver products, and in web3, hence allowing for conversations and partnerships through which deliverables can be guaranteed, while the progress stays fluid. Imagine cross-DAO products, or advisory teams provided between DAOs, in line with the knowledge our participants will have, and the ripple effect of such interactions on the canvas of work in web3, which is still up to be sketched.
STABLE MOMENTUM
The incubation that the DAOthon will provide our participants should sit only as the setting stones for a long road of finessing their ideas and bringing them to fruition. The momentum we will offer can be considered as a continuous force towards growing the involved DAOs. Through the structure created, and the parties involved, we can provide a treasury of knowledge and networks.
We believe in ensuring the DAOthon scales up for many more years to follow, and that every edition is seen as the fire for the next group of organisers taking on the responsibility. Just as the ideas that will be tackled during it, the DAOthon itself is based on our motto, our mission, vision, and values.
